Our Family
Osteria del Borgo is our restaurant and B&B in the Piazza Grande of Montepulciano, in the province of Siena, in the heart of wonderful Tuscany.

The activity was born in 2006 thanks to Nadia Bifolchi (Chef), Adriano Maramai (the handyman) and their sons Giacomo and Francesco (both Sommeliers, huge fans of good food and good wine) The Osteria offers the traditional Tuscan cuisine, with strictly hand-rolled pasta and 'zero-kilometer' ingredients, with an informal yet professional service.

The wine list offers around 600 labels from all over Europe, with a particular focus on the wines that made Tuscany great in the world, such as Chianti Classico, Supertuscans, Bolgheri, Brunello di Montalcino and of course the great Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

In the summer we will be happy to welcome you to our wonderful Panoramic Terrace overlooking the hills of the Valdorcia, in the winter season we have two internal rooms in our historic building from the years 1270s A.D., where you can sit surrounded by wines from all over Italy. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for the Terrace and Christmas Markets.
In addition to the Osteria, we will be happy to welcome you to our B&B, located in the same building on Piazza Grande, the pearl of the Renaissance. From the rooms you can enjoy a wonderful view of the square or the breathtaking Tuscan hills, living an atmosphere that takes you back in time. Breakfast is included and served in the Osteria.

In 2018, Francesco, sommelier of many Vips such as former president & first lady of USA, Hollywood actors and other important guests, started the successful Perbacco Wine Club, that took him on tour in the USA with the wine selection of the Osteria del Borgo.
We are waiting for you,
