Nestled in the historic Piazza Grande of Montepulciano, Osteria del Borgo is a family-run restaurant and B&B offering an authentic taste of Tuscany. Since 2006, our passion for traditional cuisine and fine wines has created a warm and welcoming experience for food lovers from around the world.

A Family Passion

Founded by Chef Nadia Bifolchi, Adriano Maramai (the handyman of the house), and their sons Giacomo and Francesco, both expert sommeliers, Osteria del Borgo is built on a love for good food, good wine, and great hospitality.

Tuscan Cuisine at Its Best

Our menu celebrates traditional Tuscan recipes, featuring hand-rolled pasta and locally sourced, zero-kilometer ingredients. With an informal yet professional service, we bring the best of Italy’s culinary heritage to your table.

A Wine Selection Like No Other

Our carefully curated wine list features over 600 labels from across Europe, with a special focus on the legendary wines of Tuscany. Savor Chianti Classico, Supertuscans, Bolgheri, Brunello di Montalcino, and the world-renowned Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

An Unforgettable Setting

• Summer: Dine on our breathtaking Panoramic Terrace, offering stunning views of the rolling hills of Val d'Orcia.

• Winter: Cozy up in our charming historic dining rooms, dating back to 1270 A.D., surrounded by Italy’s finest wines.

Reservations are highly recommended, especially for the Panoramic Terrace and during the Christmas Markets.

Stay with Us – A Unique B&B Experience

Our B&B, located in the same Renaissance building, offers an unforgettable stay in Montepulciano. Enjoy a magnificent view of Piazza Grande or the Tuscan countryside, in an atmosphere that transports you back in time.

Breakfast is included and served in the Osteria.

The Perbacco Wine Club

In 2018, Francesco, sommelier to distinguished guests such as former U.S. Presidents, Hollywood actors, and other VIPs, launched the Perbacco Wine Club. This exclusive club brings the best of Osteria del Borgo’s wine selection to the USA, with special wine tours and tastings.

Wine Tastings

Every day, at 4pm, we have a Masterclass on Tuscan wines, as part of our Perbacco Wine Club, join us for this fantastic tasting. 9 wines, 2h30m, 60€ p/p.
